MRes Transfer Day 2020

Our first cohort of AAPS students, who completed their MRes year and are transitioning to their PhD research phase, gave a series of presentations setting out the journey for their research projects.

December 12 2020

Our first cohort of AAPS students, who completed the MRes year of the integrated training programme and are now transitioning to their PhD research phase, gave a series of individual presentations describing the work they carried during their summer projects and set the journey for their research projects for the next 3 years.

The presentations included the research themes:

  • Propulsion Electrification
  • Chemical Energy Converters
  • Low Carbon Fuels
  • Transport, Behaviour and Society
  • Digital Systems, Optimisation and Integration
  • Transport Policy and Economics

This MRes transfer day marks the transition of students from the MRes to the PhD phase of the programme and is a fantastic showcase of the quality and range of research taking place in AAPS. We are very excited to see this research develop further and see the results over the next few years.

This event was attended by the wider IAAPS group, the academic supervision teams, the student community and members from the AAPS advisory board.
