MRes Transfer Day 2021

Our second cohort gave a series of presentations reflecting on their research journeys and setting out plans for their research projects.

December 08 2021

Our second cohort of AAPS students, who completed the MRes year of the integrated programme and are now transitioning to their PhD research phase, gave a series of presentations reflecting on their research journeys so far in the programme and setting out their plans for their research projects for the next 3 years.

The presentations included the research themes:

  • Low Carbon Fuels
  • Propulsion Electrification
  • Application of Mathematics
  • Chemical Energy Converters
  • Transport Policy and Economics
  • Transport, Behaviour and Society
  • Sustainability and Low Carbon Transition
  • Digital Systems, Optimisation and Integration

This MRes transfer day marks the transition of students from the MRes to the PhD phase of the programme and is a fantastic showcase of the quality and range of research taking place in AAPS. We are very excited to see this research develop further and see the results over the next few years.

This event was attended by the wider IAAPS group, the academic supervision teams, the student community and members from the AAPS advisory board, including our EPSRC representative.
